Industrial IP67 TDI is an industrial linear detector array built for fast scanning applications in harsh and continuous-use environments. IP67 protection, no active cooling, and ruggedized direct conversion CdTe imaging — engineered for inline inspection workflows where uptime, sensitivity, and long-duration stability matter.

Unlike detector systems that rely on Peltier cooling to manage sensor temperature, Industrial IP67 TDI operates without active cooling across its full operating range due to its very low power consumption and patented embedded dynamic offset calibration algorithm.

TDI mode operation enables line rates up to 75,000 lines per second — supporting scanning speeds that match the demands of high-throughput production inspection.

IP67 Rugged Enclosure

Fully sealed industrial enclosure rated IP67. Designed for environments with dust, moisture, vibration, and continuous operation demands that would disqualify lab-grade detectors.

No Active Cooling

No Peltiers, no cooling circuits. Industrial IP67 TDI operates within its full specification across 10–40 °C without active thermal management — reducing system complexity and failure modes. This is enabled by very low power consumption and the embedded dynamic offset calibration algorithm.

Ultra-Fast TDI Scanning

TDI mode with line rates up to 75,000 lps. Designed for very high scanning speeds — 30 m/min at 100 µm, 240 m/min at 200 µm, and up to 1920 m/min at 400 µm resolution (or 115 km/h scanning speed).

Direct Conversion CdTe

CdTe direct conversion imaging with 28 TDI stages. Exceptionally high sensitivity, wide energy range (10–360 kV), and 16-bit dynamic range for demanding inspection applications. We also offer a custom solution for LINACs for use at energies up to 9 MeV.

High Contrast & Sensitivity

Single-photon-sensitive TDI performance. Superior contrast resolution enables reliable detection of small foreign objects, fine structural defects, and low-attenuation features.

Gigabit Ethernet

Standard GigE interface. 9–24 V DC power supply range. Straightforward integration into industrial system architectures and control environments.

Industrial IP67 TDI is available in three model variants — UFS-150IP67NC-44, UFS-225IP67NC-44, and UFS-460IP67NC-44. All share the same fundamental architecture: direct conversion CdTe imaging with 28 TDI stages, IP67 enclosure, and Gigabit Ethernet interface.

Custom solutions available: the modular architecture allows Athlos to provide custom active lengths from 7.5 cm up to 10 m in 7.5 cm increments. Contact us to discuss your active length requirement.
